Sorry for the lack of updates in November, but the webmaster (me!) was traveling in a place where there was no Internet and no Short Wing Pipers!

The Georgia SWPC Chapter will be co-hosting its Christmas Party this year with EAA Chapter 468 at Peach State Airpark (GA2) on Saturday December 10, 2016 in the Museum Library.
On a very sad note, we lost a great friend of aviation a few weeks ago. Ron Alexander, who many of you knew, was lost in a crash of his beautiful 1917 JN-4. A war hero in Vietnam with a DFC and two Air Medals, a senior Captain for Delta, a successful entrepreneur (among others, owning Alexander Airplane (which became Aircraft Spruce East) and PolyFiber), and a Director of the Vintage Airplane Association, Ron was a larger than life Aviator. Tailwinds my friend.
